Festival Voor de Vloed 2025 drew thousands of visitors to the centre of Dordrecht. An edition full of street theatre, participatory art and depth about life in a vulnerable delta.
From 20 September to 2 October 2025, the third edition of Festival Voor de Vloed took place in the city centre of Dordrecht. The festival brought visitors young and old into contact with the reality of flood risk — through art, theatre, music and hands-on activities.
Highlights
The Hoog & Droog attic route drew full houses on the upper floors of historic Dordrecht buildings. The Vloedcamp of the Redders van Dordt sold out. The opening parade on Friday evening was a grand spectacle through the centre of Dordrecht.
